| patmix | funny bart simpsons on ussr cold war era look like could you tell what the years of this animation are made ? |
| 52CaddyV | "Nehochu!" I hear that throughout the cartoon. What does it mean? |
| dochokeana | "Nehochu" means "I don't want it" |
| LadyKaida | The name Nehochuha, literally translates meaning "the boy who keeps saying no", and it's now used to refer to lazy misbehaving children. In English the phrase would be something along the lines of "I don't wanna!". |
| SouthernGentleman5 | Ha hes watching Nu Pogodi! |

| Xommon | "Baboiya" What does that mean? Grandma? at 0:29 and 0:30 |
| Oyoveyno | "Babushka" is "grandmother". Don't know what "baboiya" is, though. |
| Oyoveyno | Hehe, nice cartoon. Weird, but then all foreign animation is to me. |
| Xommon | well, listen to what he says at 0:29 - 0:30. It sounds something like "Baboiya" Nothing like Babushka |
| alkak1 | ok Baboolia is Grandma, same way you might say Nanna or Mommo or some other way to say Granny, just a slang |
| MrBurns121 | Very nice. Brings Back memories |
| Xommon | In German you say Oma or Nanna. In Russain you say Baboolia or Babushka? |

| Kropotov | oh ya tak davno kvas ne pil. Great cartoon! |
| euphoria713 | I love this cartoon! and by the way, babushka=grandmother baboolia=grandma |
| izemlyd | I LOVE that it has yakkety sax in it! Also, I understood most of it, and I speak NOOOO russian whatsoever. Its obvious that its designed for kids still learning to speak. |
| Boshetunmai | Ba-bu-Lya |
| GreyEyedGoth | After I learn how to speak spanish I'm going to learn how to speak russian... I really want to learn how to speak russian more >< but hear to have a job in most places it requires you to speak spanish >< |
| cyczanddemluver | Anyone know what year this is? Very nice, by the way. |
| michigandon | Not to pick nits or anything, but the version you hear on this clip is actually called yakkety yaks, by Chet Atkins. "Yakkety sax" is the saxophone version commonly heard on the Benny Hill show. I also don't speak Russian at all, yet I was able to get the gist of it as well. It looks like the lesson they were trying to teach is "Laziness will get you nowhere." Or perhaps, "Be careful of what you wish for"?? |
| Xommon | Babulya? oh ok |
| Reseilli30 | This Actually Works..................... 1-Say a boy or girl's name u want 2 b with 2 times 2-Say ur best friend's name 5 times 3-Post This Comment On 5 Videos 4-Press F8 5-U will c ur crushes name |

| Haneline | I speak Russian and Spanish as well as Japanese, Italian, French, German, Portuguese, Hebrew, and some Arabic. I am learning Polish, Ukrainian, Cantonese, Mandarin, Farsi, Swedish, Vietnamese, Thai, Hindi, Armenian, Dutch, Czech, Croatian, Chippewa, Korean, Greek, and Norweigian. I love learning languages and am really good at it. I learned French in three hours. |
| ilivefornaruto | WOAH MAN!!! THAT IS REALLY NIICE! |
| CrystalMeth8989 | bullshit. pizdizh', to est'. |
| badnewswade | Oh wow, it's got that rabbit and t'ing from other Soviet cartoons! :-D |
| kveldulfr | "Babulya", yes, means the same, but more lovenly sort of...=) Babushka literally means "little baba" (baba = old woman) Babulya - "my dear babushka" |
| jeidda09 | if u are an american i know what means 'I SPEAK...(any language u name it)." It means u can say: HELLO, THANK U, BYE . :) BRAVO |
| Haneline | Ya lublu govoritye yeziki. Ya govorit Polski, Nemetski, Espanski, Italiano, Portuguesa, Grek, Nippon, Objibwa (Chippewa) Lakota, Farsi, Svenska, Hebrew, Arabski, and more. Did I fucking stutter asshole. I Love Learning Languages, Girka (Go figure it out). |
| CrystalMeth8989 | eto nazyvaetsya, ne govorit - eto ty prosto kakie-to frazy znaesh. ty poprobuy dejstvitelno vyuchit, kak polozheno - s lekisikoi, grammatikoj i prochimi yazykovymi elementami. P.S.: ya govoryu po-Polski is the correct variant of I speak Polish. |
| Haneline | If you like I can send you my phone number and then you can call and we can talk in any language you want, Suki. |
| Haneline | Crystalmeth: Kind of hard to write in Polish or Russian without using a computer that translate words into those language. You knew what I fucking meant asshole. Go take your Meth today. |
| Haneline | Esta bien, es bueno tu hablo idiomas. Gracias, Gracie, Spasibo, Dasvidanye, Adios, Chao, Grupa Dupa (Fatass), Mayate, No I guess it means I can speak more than the basics. |
| Haneline | There are different dialects of Arabic but here is some spoken in my hood: Kalba: Bitch, Mah lah kah (Asshole), Shar mouta (Son of) Whore, Cush Oh mac Fuck your sister, a little more Polish, Zrob Mi Lache (Suck my dick. All these cultures in America, It is about time somebody try learning other languages Gruba Dupa. |
| CrystalMeth8989 | Suka. I'm singular |
| CrystalMeth8989 | Arschloch. |
| Haneline | Girka. Cush Oh Mac, That means go fuck your sister in Arabic. Gruba Dupa. |
| Haneline | Get a goddamn life fucker. |
| CrystalMeth8989 | haha as soon as you stop bragging about something you obviously don't have. don't overestimate your mental abilities.have a good day loser. |
| Haneline | Not if you meant it in Polish asshole. Polska. I always speak a mixture of languages combined since I speak so many, but if I need to speak pure Russian ,polish, spanish, or whatever I can do that too. |
| Haneline | Mi scusi, cocojin? That Italian and Japanese. Where's the fucking email so I can send you my number fucker? Ever heard of shortwave radio? Over 4000 stations from around the world. Great place to learn languages. |
| Haneline | Hey America remember it took 1 vote that kept us from saying Guten Morgen, wie geht es ihnen? That is German which would have been America's official language if one person would have gotten off their ass and voted for it. CrystalMeth, that make 6 languages I have used. So who's the Loser Jackass? |
| CrystalMeth8989 | i'd rather speak one clean and correct language with no accent whatsoever(English)that learned in my coutry(Russia) before i came here, know my own language perfectly well(Russian, and it's a tough one), than speak a mixture of words that i don't even know the meaning of. if it makes you feel better about your sorry loser ass, call it "i speak 610 languages". in fact, this is "i know 610 random phrases in other languages that i can't spell, translate, or pronounce" |
| CrystalMeth8989 | i'm very interested in Russian particularly. please do. |
| Haneline | I speak several languages fluently, but I am learning even more now. I study 6 to 7 hours a day depending on if I have nothing else to do. I see you are only 21 well I am a lot older than you. 41 to be exact. The account I use is my nephew's who is younger. Email me so I can send you my phone number. |
| sniper11235 | this isnt arabic...but ok... |
| Haneline | Ya znayu, but I had to add that in for those who don't believe people love learning languages. Not everyone plays basketball and rap. Some do use their brain. |
| sniper11235 | wow. but whats your original language? |
| Quiverwing | Weird. Those crazy Russians copied the Benny Hill theme during 2:37-4:30. |
| Maxim1789Sb | Multfilm seventies (parody school truants, sov.consumerism to default). It is quite possible that in the studio vault "SousMultfilm" there is a contract with mr. Hill or his representatives (in those days, with the rights of authors, it was very strict). Benny Hill (he did not all these sketch's) shown in the eighties on 3Sovtv, type as "foreign humor", on the morning of saturday). Benny Hill has presented(or wrd localized? in eng, i do not know) man with annoying voice. |
| chica476 | you just said, "how goes it for them" instead of "how goes it for you"! silly goose the i is capitalized! |
| chica476 | oh, russian is not all that bad, try chinese... =\ |
| poonjoo | grandma: WELL LITTLE IVAN WE WILL SEE WHAT THE STATE HAS TO SAY ABOUT THIS? thousands of conscripts over run the house lol seriously thou russia is pretty cool |
| skbakanov | You know cartoons from 70s used to have some morals to them. |
| tamazenko | This is used to be one of my favorite cartoons. It is funny how in Russia grandmas often raise kids. I love my grandma, she used to call me Нехочуха. It is funny, в Америке многа таких детей как Великий Нехочуха, soft and lazy. |
| Taty4 | As an American I would find offense to that if it wasn't so true.. |
| metalhead666666 | great soviet propaganda |
| isaychew | you could as well call it great human propaganda for any person of any race/time might drown in idlessness or pleasures |
| rushnrussian12321 | he enjoys saying nehochu. by the way, what is his name? |
| zeejenkins | nehachu means i dont want to IM RUSSIAN |
| rushnrussian12321 | oh.. alright. thanks for the info |
| rushnrussian12321 | but still, what is his name? |
| rushnrussian12321 | but still, what is his name? |
| dildoshitface | I chtoby ne kokih babushek!!!!! haha. That'd be great. |
| dutchfreak3 | they say i dont want to too much xD |
| sycodelich | His name is Nehochuha. It means (roughly) someone who always says "I don't want to!" The cartoon explores the possibility of a utopia, where no one is not only not made to do anything, but also not allowed to. The kid hates the idea of becoming a fat slob (funny, the thing that really scares him is his possible future reflection being fat..), so he runs from the utopia land and tells his grandma that he will never again say I DOn't Want to! :)) |
| Wolfboy183 | nehachu sounds like 'nikachu..." thats how the kid said it.. Funny word lol. ill laugh my ass off if i accidentally say nehachua when i dont want to do something lol. Catchy music. And NO i dont think this is Soviet propaganda, its just a simple kids film showing them what happens if u don't keep yourself disciplined (ex. clean your room, do what parents tell u) |
| stevemeltzer1 | Nice video! my names Kayla, kinda feelin bored if any1 wants to join me on cam or wana chat i will be signed on at FriendlyFlirts(.COM) my user ID there is Kayla_wmyioikioxr chat soon xx its FR33 to j0in! mwah |
| Shohirrim | Ха,музыка,начиная с 2,37-саунд из Бенни Хилла=))) |
| al122385 | Even though I don't know the language I think I got the good message it carries :). But anyway, what is that phrase the lady robot used so much every time she fed the boy with junk ? |
| kosmosleha2 | Poshel ubirat komnatu .... |
| HeiligZorn | He just gets saturated by this shit the modernity sells to kids. |
| darkandre76 | I liked this cartoon a lot! |
| geoffds | This is largely a rip-off of the 1937 Disney cartoon called "Pigs is Pigs." That cartoon features a "boy" pig who eats nonstop and is strapped in a machine that force feeds him. Of course, the huge difference is that the boy in this Soviet version learns his lesson. In "Pigs is Pigs" the pig wakes up terrified and realizes it was all just a dream. Then his mom calls him downstairs for breakfast and he proceeds to eat with gusto, an indication that the dream didn't teach him anything. :) |
| madmuffinz | Then it's not a rip-off. |
| paramosha1976 | Супер!!!!!!!1 |
| julia2night | Good boy! You're gonna to be like the Great I-don't-wanna-do-anything (it's the name of the fat guy, the king of that country) |
| Lerusechka | Хахаха! Точняк)))) |
| uknowho1987 | why when i see negative comments they are always written by Ukranians who grew up on these cartoons, just like the rest of us?! what is badly disturbed withing u guys that u betray your own childhood? :*( |
| Bort125 | Um...yes, it is a rip-off. If you write a movie and copy somebody's plot and the only difference is the way you end it, it does not make it your original work. |
| madmuffinz | Okay. |
| johnsmithaggie | Which of the posts were from Ukrainians?? Read through all of them, checked where the authors are from, did not see any from Ukraine. There were some negative ones from Russia though... why when I see negative comments about Ukrainians they are always some made-up bullshit from Russians?? |
